Hello to anyone looking in for the first time!

I have been very busy with a few commissions. A number of oil paintings and watercolours, this keeps things very interesting and I am still one very happy artist!

Another Sunderland art fair is now coming up at the Seaburn Center on Sunday 16th November. It will be good to see all the other artists. Carol White is one artist I met at the art fair about a year ago and have recently organized to have a joint event with in December.

Carol and myself will be sharing the Gallery at Pebbles Art Cafe in  Allendale on

Sat 6th, Sun 7th and Sat 13th, Sun 14th December.

This will be our first time taking part in the 'art tour' organized  by the (Network - artists in Northumberland) I hope people attend and enjoy the event, the gallery is in a beautiful location with lots of little extras planned 'mulled wine' of course. If all goes well we may be looking at a regular thing and possibly joining in on the Summer Art Tour in 2009!

The showing of my work at the BIC (Business Innovation Centre) in Sunderland during November last year went well, it was to tie in with the end of a course I have been studying to help me with the business side of my new career. The help and advice from the network of people here has been such a boost.

This is a promotional photo they used in the magazine 'the innovator'. Thanks to everyone!!

Another art fair on Sunday the 18th of November at The Seaburn Centre, Sunderland was very very cold and so not many people braved the weather, the ones who did were very nice and I had some nice chats with people and other artists. Here is a photo of the stall, Emma Featherstone, my great friend helped me set up again, she really boosts my confidence, thanks Emma!

The next art fairs at The Seaburn Center are Sunday 25th May 2008 and  Sunday 16th November 2008.
I will have some new paintings to show!

I finally got brave enough to ask the Washington Wildfowl Centre if I could show my work. They were very helpful and I am to show my paintings for the whole month of July 2008. I am loving painting watercolours of beautiful birds, butterflies and anything wildlife related, I can't stop painting at the moment.

I have sent a few paintings to America last year, that was very exciting. I now have a few really nice contacts in the USA, wow! They have been really supportive and encouraging.

Can I take this opportunity to thank Keith at 'The Picture Framer's' who not only shows my paintings in the front window of his shop in Sunderland City Center but has been handing out my contact info since the beginning that has got me a lot of commissions. Thanks a million!.

Thats about it for now, anything new and I'll let you know, Take care, Pauline.
